Welcome to Creative Pathways
Empowering Youth Workers to Support Marginalized Youth through Arts, Digital Tools, and Entrepreneurship
This isn’t your typical training. It’s a space to explore how art, storytelling, and digital tools can actually work in real life, to support young people who’ve felt overlooked or stuck.
Whether you’re a youth worker with years of experience or just getting started, this project is about giving you the inspiration, ideas, and hands-on methods to guide youth toward entrepreneurship, self-confidence, and new ways of seeing their future.
We would have a group of changemakers from the Netherlands and North Macedonia sharing ideas, building skills, and co-creating tools that actually speak to young people’s realities.
And yes, expect real talk, creative energy, new connections, and a sense that what you do really matters.

Why Creative Pathways?
Today’s job market is shifting. Traditional career paths are no longer a given, and many young people, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds, are being left behind. Youth from migrant communities, restrictive cultural settings, or the LGBTQ+ community often face barriers to opportunity, including limited access to networks, support, or creative learning environments.
At the same time, youth workers on the front lines are struggling to meet these complex challenges.
They need new, practical tools to empower young people with the confidence, creativity, and entrepreneurial skills needed to thrive.
Our Vision
Creative Pathways is an Erasmus+ project led by Freedom to Discover and Public Room. Together, we are developing an innovative, arts-based approach to youth entrepreneurship that combines creative expression with digital transformation and inclusive education.
We believe that creative tools can unlock hidden potential and that entrepreneurship should be accessible to all young people, regardless of their background.
Our Goals
1. Train Youth Workers
We are equipping over 50 youth workers across Europe with new methods to teach entrepreneurship through creativity, storytelling, and digital media.
2. Build a Digital Toolkit
We are creating an interactive digital toolkit with arts-based learning resources for youth workers to use in non-formal education settings.
3. Host Online Workshops
Youth workers will participate in 3 to 4 hands-on, online workshops focused on leadership, problem-solving, and career readiness for disadvantaged youth.
4. Create a Digital Platform
A long-term online hub will support knowledge-sharing and collaboration among youth workers, ensuring the project’s impact continues well beyond its end date.
5. Promote Sustainability and Inclusion
From eco-conscious workshop practices to digital tools that reduce travel needs, sustainability is integrated into every part of this project. We also focus on equity and access by centering youth who are often excluded from mainstream opportunities.
Why Creative Pathways Matter
In both the Netherlands and North Macedonia, youth unemployment remains a pressing issue, especially for marginalized groups. At Freedom to Discover, we see how many young people feel disconnected from the job market and unsure of how to apply their talents. They are often educated for a world that no longer exists.
By investing in youth workers, Creative Pathways creates ripple effects, reaching young people through trusted mentors and helping them discover their creative potential, entrepreneurial spirit, and place in the future economy.

Creative Pathways is about opening doors for youth workers and for the young people they support.
Together with our partner Public Room, we’re creating space for creativity, connection, and opportunity. Through arts-based and digital tools, we help youth workers guide young people, especially those who’ve felt excluded, toward confidence, entrepreneurship, and meaningful work.
It’s about more than skills. It’s about believing in young people’s potential and building a more inclusive, inspired future together.
