Wrapping up B.M.C. 2.0

When we look back at BMC 2.0, what we see is more than just a youth exchange. It was a period filled with voices, laughter, challenges, questions, and those unexpected moments when something simply clicks. We saw young people step forward, try out leadership in their own way, and discover that their ideas can carry weight in a group. That was the heart of it: learning by doing, sometimes stumbling, but always moving together.

The German group consisted largely out of participants from Czech Republic, and the Dutch and Macedonian group were also mixed.That meant new dynamics, new ways of understanding each other, and also the responsibility to make sure everyone felt part of the circle. We’re proud that the youngsters themselves carried much of the program. They led, we supported, and in that process we saw them grow.

BMC 2.0 reminded us why youth exchanges matter. They give space to try, to fail, to connect across cultures, and to realise that being different is actually where the strength lies. The energy of these days will stay with us, and hopefully with every participant who now carries a piece of it back home.

We’re deeply grateful to Erasmus+ for making this possible, to our partners who walked this path with us, and to the young people who dared to step in and shape it. This is not the end, but a foundation for what’s to come.
