A youth exchange that brings youth together from the Netherlands and North Macedonia to connect through music, build intercultural understanding, and grow as young leaders.

Mosaic of Minds is a joint initiative by Freedom to Discover and Orutindo, focused on tackling discrimination and promoting inclusion across Europe. By empowering youth workers, the project champions diversity and challenges discrimination through innovative, collaborative efforts.

A project to empower youth workers with creative and digital tools to support young people, spark entrepreneurship, and open new paths to confidence, inclusion, and opportunity.

When voices meet, borders fade.
On 25 August at 18:00, join us at Public Room, Skopje for the final concert of the C.H.O.I.R. Youth Exchange.
Over the past days, young people from North Macedonia and the Netherlands have come together to sing, learn, and create. 🎶 Through workshops and rehearsals, they discovered each other’s cultures—and even learned songs in each other’s languages! 🇲🇰🤝🇳🇱
Now, they share the result with you: one evening of harmony, friendship, and the power of music to connect us all. 💛

We’re almost halfway through the Choir Youth Exchange in Ohrid, and what a journey it’s been! From singing together to learning phrases in each other’s languages to unforgettable moments together, the energy and creativity of our group has been amazing. 💛

Yesterday we were at the Iftar dinner organized by New Voice. Thank you John and Rachella for sharing your personal journeys. Thank you Eddy for creating a podium where people can do that. And thanks to all the volunteers that made this evening possible. We met so many amazing people from so many different places like Yemen, Jordan, Turkey, Suriname, North Macedonia, while enjoying meals from Tunis and Palestina. An unforgettable eve where we met new friends.

Hello World,
Our hearts are heavy as we hear about the tragic fire at the nightclub in North Macedonia. We cannot begin to imagine the pain of those who have lost loved ones, and our deepest condolences go out to the families, friends, and everyone affected by this heartbreaking event.
Nightclubs, music venues, and gathering spaces should be places of joy, connection, and safety—where people come together to celebrate life. Young people should have the freedom to explore, musicians should be able to share their music, and mothers should never have to worry whether their children will come home. This tragedy hits so deeply. A place that should have been filled with music, laughter, and life has now become a place of loss.
Our hearts go out to the victims, their families, and everyone affected by this terrible event. In moments like these, words feel inadequate.
As an organization working closely with partners in North Macedonia, our hearts are with the people affected by this tragedy. If there is a way we can offer support to those in need, we stand ready to do so.
To the families, our friends, colleagues, and partners in North Macedonia—you are not alone. We stand with you. And to everyone reading this, let’s hold space for those who are mourning and take care of one another.
