Tomorrow, we travel without her. But part of her will always travel with us.
Amélie was there at the very beginning of Freedom to Discover, when our first youth exchange was still just a dream.
Even without funding, she joined—eager to learn, ready for adventure. Curious, creative, full of life.
This year, we got the funds.
And she was supposed to come with us this July.
But she didn’t make it.
We remember her with love, and we carry her spirit into every step we take.
With broken hearts, we wave goodbye.
